Marines aboard an Assault Amphibian Vehicle search the areas around the Chalmette Bridge for survivors of Hurricane Katrina. The Marines of 4th Assault Amphibian Battalion along with 1st Battalion 8th Marines have been conducting search and rescue missions throughout the New Orleans area.
